Chess pieces measuring 10 m x 20 m were used to play on the board (sized 400 m x 400 m).
From 17 August to 29 September 2009, a game of chess was played between former junior world champion Elisabeth Pähtz (Germany)
and an Internet community of chess players. The Internet players resigned at the 38th move.
